A flipping 117 million pancakes will be eaten on Shrove Tuesday alone, 92 times the number of sales that were estimated to take place in 2022.
The largest pancake ever made was in Rochdale in 1994, and had an almighty surface area of 1,905 sq ft, 68% bigger than the average UK flat.
